Award-Winning Author, Joy Dent, writes sweet contemporary romances as Darcy Flynn. She loves staring at the moon and stars, Gene Kelley musicals, and her mother’s gumbo. She misses Firefly and Moonlight – not necessarily in that order. Known for her irritatingly, handsome heroes and feisty heroines, her fiction is a bit of moon magic and a lot of problems mixed with a healthy portion of sweet romance. Joy/Darcy lives in historic Franklin, TN with her husband, and a menagerie of living creatures.

A native of New Orleans, Joy swapped her city roots for garden boots when she and her husband moved to their farm in Franklin, Tennessee, where Joy is surrounded by her beautiful gardens and a menagerie of living creatures–English setters and Millie Fleur chickens, being her favorite.

Although, published in the Christian non-fiction and homeschool market under her real name, Joy Griffin Dent, it was the empty nest that turned her to writing romantic fiction – proving it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
