Spring! I absolutely love it! I think of my mother, who taught me how to garden and
how to prepare the soil. Peat moss and pretty garden gloves shared equal space on her garden bench. I owe my passion for gardening to both my parents. My father taught me how to grow vegetables, but the flowers, the annuals and perennials, are gifts from my mother. I spent years watching her tend her roses and her flower beds on what she called, “her little piece of America.” Gardening was more than a hobby, it was a way of life.
But, enough about me…
It’s my pleasure to introduce you to fellow Soul Mate Author, Amanda L. V. Shalaby! Her passion for all things Jane Austen was inspired by her mother and grandmother. She now writes her own historical romantic mysteries. Amanda’s previously published works, Rhianna and Audra, both were nominated for the prestigious InD’Tale Magazine RONE Award. Her latest novel, Bleddyn Hall, was released on February 11, 2015.
